Hi Lift mounted inside
Pretty much mounted in the same location the Woods mounting bracket mounts the jack. Instead of $80 I spent less than $20. Started off with a piece of metal stock 60" with pre-drilled holes (less than $15 from home depot).
I used the factory bolts in the roll bar to mount the metal stock to the roll bar high enough up to keep it out of the rear view when driving. Two 3/8" x 5" bolts hang through the metal stock to hang the jack from. Painted it all gloss black to match, except the last inch or so of the 5" bolts so the knob can hold the jack on.
Hard to see in the pics, but there are two nuts with a washer sandwiched between that keeps the jack from bouncing up. The knobs are usually used on push mower handles. Just drilled out the 1/4" nuts, heated, then set in the 3/8".

I was concerned how it would hold up in an accident (My kids are in the back seat)
It almost looked like it might interfere with the soft top removal
And last (Bad I know) but I'm not sure I want to mount a dirty jack inside.
Let me know how it holds up though. I almost sold.
seems pretty sturdy but I haven't rolled it.....yet.
Here is where I mounted mine. When we wheel it is just my wife and me so there is no need for a back seat. One wing nut and it is out in one piece ready to use. There is a rubber floor mat from the tail gate to the back of the front seats....easy clean up. I prefer to have my high lift inside; hard to steal (out of sight out of mind), stays clean and very easy to access and remove. JMO

It is the 48", figured if I ever go up to the 60 I would have to put it in at an angle and maybe use the soft top mount. Of course, if the top is off fitting the 60" wouldn't be a problem on the same mount.
wanted to have it inside for the same reason of being less likely to walk off. Also, never know when it may come in handy around town.
