Default River Raider Expedition Snorkel

I got this installed yesterday and man it makes the Jeep look sleek. Nothing gawdy about the snorkel, purely functional. It places the intake about chest high on my Jeep which is good enough for me since i'll probably never see water levels that high.

The intake bowl and mount come in gloss black but I got it powdercoated matte black to fit the theme of the Jeep. I think they offer to paint it the body color if you choose. If not, they all come black.

Instructions were pretty straight forward...about 4hours for install start to finish. Requires 2 hole saws (3" and 3.25") to cut the cowl and the firewall.

Let me know what you think

I got the hard line kit...ill snag the pic from my buddys facebook page and post it up...everything clears properly and its worth the extra $60 to get it so there's never a doubt that the intake will compromised

It comes in raw metal but we powdercoated it as well...you can find more pics on their website

They also give you an aluminum battery try as well because you have to turn it sideways for the line to clear...it wont work with a dual battery setup unfortunately

I love it! But it could match up to the body panels a little better. Looks like it sticks out a little bit.

It sits pretty flush to the body, there is a gasket underneath the base so that might be why it doesn't look flush.

As far as the windshield lights, I think it depends on which brackets and lights you use...I don't plan on getting windshield lights. I want the Delta light bar so idkm you'd have to con tact River Riader and ask them
