just installed the 5160 bilsteins, haven't tested them yet but all I can say is that they're badass! there were no instructions on these so I did my best, tried to look for clearance issues but can't seem to find any. here are a couple pics, my axle side bolt for track bar gets close to the reservoir tank. please let me know if you see something. I will be getting my front sets in about a week..then we will def have to do a run!

I have a cadillac! I know a route I usually take to take my kids to baseball practice, there are alot washboards, unlevel / potholes and a couple huge dips...I can only do about 35 mph with my skycrapper shocks before the jeep starts swaying, bouncing, bottoming out and vibrating, now I'm doing test runs at 55mph..barely feel them, dips absorbed like nothing, less roll as well...and that's just with the rears. All there baseball gears don't bounce around anymore.

 

I like the sound of that, how would you say compare it to stock if you can recall? Im due to redo my suspension already, my current lift has over 60k miles, and the Rubicon Express shocks are starting to go already. I have a Rough Country kit im planning to install but I will want to later upgrade to better shocks.

 

Do they make these for a stock JK?

Well Ive read a couple posts where several guys have 5100's and or 5150s and upgraded to 5160s, they were very happy with the outcome. If you know the 5100s are great just wait till you put these on! its a totally new jeep, its very good on highway speeds and unlevel pavements...my wife loves the new ride and giving me the money for the front pairs! Wish I had enough for my Toyota Tacoma too...prolly put some 5100s on those later.

 

If I don't disco when offroad, would I be okay running these stock?
