Default my $3.00 stubby bumper

after installing a Rugged Ridge XHD front bumper on my wife's unlimited, I went to work on her stock bumper and made my own minimalist stubby for my 2-door Rubicon...

the hardest part was figuring out how to install my fog lights in the steel part, since they're originally attached to the plastic cover... i ended up using some aluminum sheet from an old computer case to make the filler panels to mount the fog lights...

only stuff i had to buy was some long screws, nuts, and washers to mount the fogs in my filler panels...

a lot of measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, sanding and painting with bedliner and it ended up looking pretty good...

mb, I'd love to see detailed write-up about how you fabricated the mounts for the fog lights. Nice job sir!

Any pics of the filler plates during the build?

I am curious as to how these were fabricated.
