Default Quick Question - TF 3" lift, stock wheels??

Hey All,

Long story short, I'm about to trade my current tires for a complete set of stock rubi wheels/tires and will need to use the new stockers for a week or two until my new tires arrive.

It's been such a long time since I'd been stock and can't remember if this is possible or not.

If this doesnt work, I should pick up a set of spidertrax 1.5's right?

Thanks and apologies for the dumb question.

That's the recommendation from Teraflex. The longer rear sway bar links come very close to the stock tire on the stock rims (without the spacers).

I just had a 3" teraflex kit with full flexarms and front and rear trackbars put on my 2011 2 door 3 days ago and my rear stocks needed spacers to clear the rear sway bar links.

What if I went back to the shorter rear links?

Sounds like worst case scenario to be dropping $99 for two spidertrax spacers.. Not bad since I could use one for my spare anyways.

Depends on how much driving and flexing you are planning until you get your new wheels. With shorter sway bar links, their is the potential that under extreme flex situations, your sway bar could end up pivoting 90 degrees.

You can see the potential by raising the back of the jeep and letting the axle hang. If the sway bay and the sway bar link become almost a straight line, then the link is too short.

Definitely no wheeling will be done while I wait for my new tires.

I guess I'll find out if it'll work this weekend.

Thanks guys!
