Smile Rubicon Express 4.5" coils- you happy?

I'm looking into buying some used 4.5" RE coils. Wondering if people are happy with them? I read on here that some people are not happy with RE's stuff, but so far people were happy with the coils? sagging? actual ride height?

I'm looking for load carrying ability (have a heavy setup, full skids, steel bumpers, winch, hard top, etc.)

Currently have OME HD springs (the Northridge setup) and love the way they ride. Just thinking of getting a little more lift and eventually going to 37's.

Eh, for just springs, I wouldn't worry about this. Especially since they are second hand. I have a 4 Dr 4.5 in la on my 2 Dr and the springs are great.

I have a few hundred more pounds of steel on mine though! I definitely need another inch of lift with 37's.

so, those of you who have them are happy with the way they ride? Are they stiff in comparison the OME HD's?

I was thinking about the +40's. I just thought I'd try to save some $$ and get the used RE coils if I can get em a lot cheaper.

Ha, are you serious? Because they are out of business, you would stay away from a set of used coils? I have yet to call customer service regarding springs. If this were a complete lift, I'd definitely advise staying away but I don't think you can go wrong with just coils.

I've been very happy with my coils, no sagging issues to date. They handle weight very well.

Rubicon Express was purchased by TransAmerican Auto parts on May 1st. They are the Parent Company of 4 WHEEL DRIVE HARDWARE & 4WHEEL PARTS WHOLESALE, as well as SmittyBuilt & Pro Chomp. It is posted on a link on the 4 WHEEL DRIVE HARDWARE site.

Wow, I think I am the only one not happy with the OME springs and shocks. Ran them for only 6 months and swapped them out to RE and Fox. Couldn't be happier.
