Default ProCOmp 7031's 16" or 17"

While searching posts on here, most of you with the ProComp 7031's seem to have went with the 16 inch version rather than 17. Does the quarter inch more of backspacing really make that much difference? Just made me curious, as I am considering these wheels in 17" woith some 35's.

I don't run 7031's, but I chose 16" 7069's because:

- 8" wide rather than 9". Better tire retention off road at low pressures with the narrower wheel
- 16" tires are less expensive
- My plan was to use 315's and I prefer the look of the slightly taller sidewall of the 16" version

So, it's not about the backspace, necessarily.

Definitely, I just like the look of a little more rubber that the 16in has over the 17in
