Jw y so many jku owners sell their freedom top and I was surprised at the price they fetch too

 

You talkin' about the hard top? I sold mine as well. One of the reasons I bought a Jeep is for the open air. The hard top is a p.i.a. to remove (the whole thing). Sold mine, and now just use the soft top.

 

Because most people buy their Jeeps off the lot, not special ordered, and many of the Jeeps are ordered by the dealers with the dual top option. If you need cash for mods, selling either the soft top or the freedom top is an easy way to get some. You will see just as many people with the dual top option selling the soft top as those who sell the hard top. Personal preference on which top they prefer and how much cash is needed for the mods. Hard tops fetch more $$$
