Default Anyone installed a tranny cooler i have a ?

Ok I just got done with installing the cooler , I ran the jeep for a while to check for leaks. My question is do I need to just add enough tranny fluid to make up for what drained out when I cut the lines, or will I need more to compensate for the cooler and lines? I'm i'n town and I'll pick up a quart if I need to

You need to compensate for the extra space created by the cooler.
It still measures the same way, just get the jeep warmed up and add fluid until the stick says OK.

I did mine last weekend and had to add a little over half a quart. May need to add just a touch more. My T oil stick has 2 holes on it for hot measuring. Most guys say to make sure it is halfway between the 2 holes while the engine is running. Mine is just over the first hole. I just drove a 200 mile trip so I will check to make sure it's still good.

Good to know thanks, yeah those holes on the dipstick are handy the red fluid fills i'n the holes and it's easier to tell were the level is compared to some dipsticks.
