Default I ordered a dynatrac pro rock 44 axle housing

And I would like to know what my shopping list to fill it is.
I already "know" that I will be going with RCV solid axle cv's and probably eventually an Ox locker and I know I need ring and pinion gears, but I'm not sure what else I need to make my housing a bolted in axle and not a pretty paper weight sitting on my lawn. I know that I can use bits and pieces of my Dana 30 to round out the wheel ends of the axle, but what about the various internals that non mechanics(which I am) don't think about?
Also, are there any differences that I need to know about between a standard pro rock housing and one set up to drop a rubicons internals into?

Thanks for any help.

Wish I knew everything, but a free bump might help.

I see you have a 2 1/2 in lift...if you are thinking of going any bigger I would say that you should make sure and get the housing with the extra camber built in so you dont have any front drive shaft vibration problems like I'm having. I will be ordering either a 44 or 60 housing myself as soon as I save up my pennies.

Did you already "order" the housing? Becuase you need to make sure you ordered the right one.

Do you have a rubicon?

The rubi replacement PR will accept the stock factory e-locker, which is around $1200 for just the locker. Or a 35spline ARB, but you have to use 35spline shafts with it. Or a 35spline Ected, but again, you have to use 35spline shafts. No other lockers will fit without a lot of custom work.

Unless you already have a rubi front axle, with a functioning locker, get the standard PR housing. I would also choose the Unlimited version of the standard housing, of course.

An OX locker will not fit in a PR44. Do you know what you bought?
Standard housing or Unlimited? BTW- Someone mentioned the Unlimited had camber correction. It's actually caster correction.

Did you order it for a Rubicon locker or a conventional locker?
