Default did i get my tranny fluid to full?

i added extra tranny fluid after installing cooler, i filled and checked it several times checking the level and it looked fine. I just got home and checked again and its a tiny bit above the top hot hole. Ive read its sapose to be between the two hot oil holes? should i remove some?

The dipstick says one way, the owner's manual says the other.
I have tried it in park and neutral, and it was pretty colse to the same. I guess it only matters if one is at the limit.
