Default RE-GEARING & gas mileage..... Better or worse??

Just wondering after I regear to 5.13's besides the obvious benefits of new gears.....

WILL I get better or worse gas mileage??

I have an auto 4dr with 35" tires, XHD front bumper with stinger, 3" Teraflex lift and I'm already using a Superchip.
So should I expect to get slighty better or worse gas mileage ( or same as I do now with the superchip) after the Yukon 5.13's go in?? Anyone with first hand experience know???
Thanks you guys. Rob

Mine got worse but I regeared to 4.88 with 34 inch tires on 6 speed. If I installed 4.10s it prob would have improved over the 3.21s but not an expert on this by any means. My highway mpg suffered because I run at 2800 rpms on the hgway in 6th gear.

your gas mileage will get worse because of the extra weight of the tires. i just put on 37's (heavy 37s) and my mileage drop 2 miles per gas!

Confused.... You guys are saying worse others have told me better gas mileage..... I wonder if it's a matter of getting the right gears for your set up.... Mine being auto and most say get 5.13's ..... Hmmmmm now I'm wondering again. I also wonder what rpm I'll be at on the expressway... Guess I'll find out in 2 weeks.

Free Bump....I believe the mpg question is in regards to running with the current setup (35's, 3") and based on stock gearing vs. lower gearing.
Not tire weights, etc.

It doesn't help but: I purchased 5.38' with the auto, but can't give feedback as to the MPG compared to the 4.10's just yet...too early. After many reviews most say with an auto go 5.38 for anything over 35".

Most people will gain mpg in the city with a lower gear ratio. Highway will suffer. Most people say to go 4.88 for 35s and a stick for optimal drivability and performance. For a trade off between mileage and just enough performance look at 4.56 with 35s. To each their own.
