Default 2.5" BB lift with 315/70R17's anyone?

Okay so heres the dilemma, back in '09 i got my 285/70R17 dynapros for 195 a pop, they now cost 250 each! so with tire and gas prices up, plus being in college and clocking tons of highway miles, Im deciding to step down to an A/T. I've been eyeballing the Falken wildpeaks and contemplating stepping up t'o the 315/70R17's.
Cant afford any extra lift so im gonna stick with what i got. (2.5" TF BB) Is this a good setup? I do plan on chopping the ol' fenders if i pull the trigger.

So any pics of this lift and tire size? or any reason I shouldnt do this?

mine

315 70 17 Duratracs No flex pics handy but no rubbing after the new bumper and trimming the pinch weld seam and rub rails in front of the rear tire.

1.5" Spidertrax spacers were installed right after the lift when I still had the stock tires on.

Agreed! The people on this form have saved me a lot of trial and error with pics and info of what works and what doesnt. Of coarse they have also given me tons of ideas that end up costing me more money in mods... Either way good stuff!

315/70R17 and 2.5" here...

They fit just fine, did not need to trim the fender. The wheels offset/backspacing is the key...
