Custom Removable Mirrors
Has anybody made any Custom Removable Mirrors from crap they had laying around or from other parts?
I don't feel like dropping $150 bucks on some cheapo ones in the catalogs...
Seems like it would be pretty easy to get an old door pin and fab something that would work well enough to be street legal...
pics appreciated. thx.

Funny you should say that! I just found out that a buddy of mine has his stock YJ mirrors from when he put on the square ones that mount to the windshield hinges. So needless to say I think I'm going to go that route.

What I plan on doing is using some windshield light mounts to mount some kind of mirrors onto, either motorcycle or bicycle type mirrors would probably work.
And I suppose you could already have some wires up there with a connector attached to it so when you get to the trail if you wanted you could then swap out the mirrors for lights and vice a verse for going back home.
