Christmas came early this year.

If you buy a RR short base bumper make sure you have some deep sockets and a air conditioned garage.

 

It came out great ! Very little nose dive but it is obvious that its front heavy.

Jealous of the air conditioned garage.

 

Per fedex, winch 80lbs/ bumper I believe 65-70lbs. If the cable was synthetic it would be 20lbs lighter. Per my call to Warn, 8000lbs no problem for the jeep.

The factory bumper was garbage. It weighed about 30lbs.

And my ac garage was about 95 deg. Its really hot in south florida.

 

Oh God....I'd melt......all you'd find is a little grease spot under the jeep where I was working. I don't know how you people do it...

 

Its cheaper than taking it to a 4wd shop. lol

We just deal with it. If you waiting tell the evening hours the bugs get ya, so its better to do as much as possible before 1800
