Calling all Rugged Ridge Flat Flares Owners
This is a call for those of you who have the Rugged Ridge Flat Fenders Flares. Please post your opinion about the flares and more important, please post some pictures.
I haven't got any luck searching for pictures and reviews on the internet. The photos on the Rugged Ridge page don't show or say much.
In a forum (I don’t remember which forum) a person posted a negative comment, complaining that the flares flop while driving on the highway. The only reply he got from rugged ridges was them asking for him to send a PM.
Thank you ahead of time for your input!

There's not much out there right now on reviews. I've read through the few posts here and get mixed reviews. Seems they can easily get ripped off on the trail and they currently do not have a fender liner. RR is supposedly coming out with a liner for them (so you don't have to cut your stock one assuming you ever want to go back to stock flares). But I havn't seen any updates on that in a while.
This was the last thread I remember reading about them.

I've got em, yes they do bounce a bit in heavy winds on the highway but they're bolted on pretty well and have bent instead of tearing off or snapping when I've rubbed them on stuff. As for the liner, my stock fenders were beat so I just chopped up the stock liners and reinstalled them, works well enough and kept the snow out of the engine area during the winter.

Here are a few pics of the fenders on one of their SEMA Jeeps...

I installed my fronts last night and don't know what I think of all of the exposed wiring. Has anyone done anything to clean this up? I would like for it to just look more neat than it does right now.
Bumping this thread as I am interested in the Rugged Ridge all-terrain flat fender flares. Anyone with experience not previously noted in this thread?
I love the way they look... but I'm a bit gun-shy given the notes herein on exposed wiring and general fragility of the product.

I've been using my RR flat fenders for about 4 months now. It does come with liners - I have them on mine. The flares and liners do push the total price into the $700 range (there are sites you can get the entire kit for $500+).
I bought it because I blotched my fender whack

it's a decent kit. It flutters a little on the highway. I really liked the side marker light accommodations but it gets dislodged easily so I ran two screws into each housing to really secure them. My peeve is the light pods rub at full flex and I've beaten mine up pretty good offroading. I dislike that part about it I am OK with them. For the $500+ I paid for them I should have just gotten Bushwackers. The liners are very nice and look neat but the fenders are fairly underwhelming.
In short, it's two 1/2 stars out of four in my book.
