Default Teraflex rear upper control arms...can I?

I have the 2.5 coil lift with lower front control arms, front adjustable track bar and the rear. Having some shake/vibration problems and thinking about whether or not I need to install upper rear control arms. Opinions? Will the teraflex CAs work or be too long?

What kind of shakes/vibration are you having? As far as whether the Teraflex Rear uppers being too long, they have those in two different lengths - if you go with the shorter one, you shouldn't have an issue with it being too long. But I'm wondering how or where it might help the issue you mentioned?

i dont see how the controle arms would fix shake/vibration issues. i have the same lift and was under the impression that it is too low to benefit from any other controle arms besides f lowers.

i am not totally sure though. we will see what some more experienced others say.

Are you having front end shaking or driveline vibration?

If you have stock drive shafts I don't think the control arms are the issue.

If you have aftermarket shafts and you're caster angle is incorrect then you will need to use the CAs to adjust it.

I am believing that the minor shake I feel...not in the front but in the seat of the pants...could be to pinion angle...although I have to say it can't be off much....no haven't measured yet. Just feel like it would be useful to have complete control over all variables.

You might have your tires balanced. Also, check them closely for cupping/scalping. Are you rotating them regularly? If you do find uneven tire wear, check your shocks. I had some shocks fail and caused serious cupping on a couple tires. Jeep drove with vibration and ran with loud tire noise.

Almost doesn't seem like you care about your problem as you haven't answered many of the questions we're asking in helping to try and diagnose what the actual issue is.....

If you have stock drive shafts there is almost no way the shake is coming from them and there is almost no way adj. control arms are going to fix your problem. It sounds to me like you're having something more like a shimmy or death wobble which usually happens after lifts.

Make sure you order #1654840 for your JK. They are pretty easy to install and if you have any questions, call me.

Nope, not that I don't care. I have been through my suspension many times and have had tires balanced many times and have experienced the DW a couple of times (which was brought on by a bad balance or tipped over the edge by it anyway...although as I read other posts many will disagree). I am probably overly sensitive to the shimmy of the vehicle especially after experiencing the DW. I have not found nirvana yet. Probably the tires, but no matter how many times I take it to be balanced (multiple places...some recommended by others)....still same ride and a very arbitrary one. No real rhyme or reason when it rides a little rough....that I can find. I have a stock driveshaft and realize this will probably not fix the issue. I know many folks on this forum seem to have a minor shake and live with it...and some are lucky and have the ride that beats stock. I appreciate everyone's input on what the issues could be....just have been down that trail many times.
