Default 2011 and Rugged Ridge XHD Front Bumper

Does anyone know if the Rugged Ridge XHD front bumper will install on a 2011 2 door? From what I gather there were some changes made to the front end of the 2011.

From what I have seen/heard, yes. Only thing I have heard different about the 2011 is how some of the bumper skids fit under some bumpers..but the XHD should bolt on with the 4 bolts that hold the d-rings..

It will fit just fine. I cannot remember the bumper supplier I called regarding their bumper, but they claimed there were changes in the 2011 and that is why they did not have their bumper available yet, but when I checked with Jeep, and took some measurements on a 2009 and my 2011 they were the same.

I installed the XHD on my '11 JKU with no problems and no mods needed. Simple bolt on. I have the skid plate, but have not installe it yet. That is where there is supposed to be changes versus earlier models; but again, I have not installed the front skid yet so can't say first hand. As for the bumper, I'm very happy.

Just did the install. Bumper fits. Skid plate you will have to trim on the front frame rail about a quarter inch. Go to rugged ridge website and look at the install info they added another page with the cutting info. Other than that it looks awesome.
