Default AEV tire carrier with aftermarket bumper

Does anyone have any experience using the AEV tire carrier that can be used with the factory bumper with any of the aftermarket bumpers? I think it would look pretty sweet with the PSC RockBrawler but I dunno if it would fit. I know the bumper would have to be drilled but I'm worried about the interior bumper space. Any thoughts out there?

I have the AEV with the factory bumper and love it! It works great just like the stock carrier and i like it cause it swings with the tailgate.

No question the carrier is awesome, well designed and rock solid... Just hoping there's another bumper other than AEV's that will mount without interfering with the tire carrier frame mount. I posted a thread on AEV's forum too too see if I get any feedback.

Yeah I wanted to know so I could run the carrier with stock bumper then upgrade from there without buying a whole new complete carrier system.

Looks like the Mopar rear bumper will work as well ...

and for a fraction of the cost of the AEV rear bumper.

That looks good! Im just trying to find a solution that would allow me to run it with the stock one and upgrade later. I think this is my ticket! PS - nice rack. But seriously, which rack is that?

Well it was designed to run with the stock bumper so you are good to go !!! This thread was really asking which aftermarket bumper would work as well ...

AEV tire carrier and stock bumper. Has anyone done this yet?
