Default Superwinch EPi 9.0??

How many of you run this winch and what do you think about it? Any issues or problems? Seems to have good features and fast pull speed for the money and a good warranty. Any input would be great as I am on the fence about buying one...

It beat out a bunch of winches in a shoot out. You can find the article in Google if you search. I am runnning the 9.0 with synthetic and its a great winch from a top tier manufacturer. Although I haven't really put it to the test yet I feel 100% confident its a solid investement that won't let you down.

No issues, reliable. Replaced winchline with viking synthetic. Would buy again. Great winch.

Any one else have this winch? Is 9000 lbs enough for 4 door? Looking for more feedback...

It seems that Superwinch has discontinued the EPi series. Would this be a concern to buying one and then not having parts available if something goes wrong? They offer a limited lifetime warranty but how is this possible if they don't make them anymore? I can probably find a great deal on one but should I look at something else? Not sure about this winches track record as far as reliability...

I've been running mine for 2 years and many recoveries. No problems with it at all. If I was buying again, I would look at their Talon series. They are completely sealed and waterproof!

just like you can buy parts for a car/truck when its old you can still buy parts for them....if theres a market to sell you somethang, someone is going to provide it....superwinch.com sells parts for most there winches. i found this thread looking for info on this winch because mine has stopped working after 4 years....i suspect the solenoid and superwinch.com sells one for 100 bucks....
