I believe it depends on your wheeling, the Duratrac's are a good all around tire for moderate wheeling and a wonderful tire for your DD; but if your rig is mostly set up for more extreme off-road, especially rock gardens and such, you can not go wrong with them Kevlars, they are B.A.! Good luck and have fun Jeepin'!!!

You are really comparing apples to oranges here. As stated it will depend on your wheeling. My Jeep is a DD and a weekend warrior so I have duratracs and love them. Quiet on the road and great in the rain but also have no issues making it through mud and gripping rocks when needed, just not anything too hardcore.

I did a ton of reading on these two tires and found more positive opinions on the duratracs. For me it came down to duratracs or bf km2. I got the duratrac 285-70-17 and love them.

Thank everyone for your comments. I do not know much about tires; I did not know there was so much of a difference. I've seen great reviews about the Duratrac and your comments reinforce that.

I will go with Duractrac....My Jeep is a DD.

Thanks once again!

Just got some mtr they handle really well on the rode even though they are 38x14.50. Haven't been off road in them yet though but they look mean.!!

I ran the Duratracs since they first came out and loved them. They are quiet, great in rain and snow, and great offroad for an AT tire. I now have the MTR/Ks and they are definately better offroad, but louder on road and not quite as good in the rain. It was not an easy decision moving away from the Duratracs because they are such a good all around performer, but the MTRs are in a whole different league for offroad traction.
