Default Xenon high clearence flat fenders

So guess who got a full set of these that appear to be in mint condition.....yep. THIS girl!!!! :-D

And did i mention i picked these up for $175?!?!?!? New I think they go for around 600ish. I didn't really have too much interest in buying fenders but I couldn't pass this price up!

So! Who has experience with the install of these!?! Hard, not too bad, nightmare? And I want an opinion... I have a blue sahara and black xd hoss wheels. I'm trying to decide i I wanna have the fenders painted to match body color or leave them black.. Whatchall think??

Nice!! I would say to leave them black if you like the rugged look and paint them to match if not. All depends on preference. As far as installing, a couple bolts and a swift pull on the stock flares will do it. I haven't installed those flares, but imagine they are like others I am familiar with.

I could be wrong but think the xenon fenders require nutserts...I just picked up a used set and that's what I was told by the previous owner.

Well unlike everyone else who said these should be easy and havent done it, I have done it and it is not easy! Took me forever to do the rears because I had to drill new holes in the fenders to mount them since they did not line up. Could be because they werent fitting with my OR-FAB rocker armor. The nutserts to install the rear were a PITA! Be careful when putting in the nutserts. You should definitely go out and get a grade 8 bolt for the nutsert tool because mine snapped in half after the third nutsert. Also make sure you watch out tightening the bolts and nylon lock nuts when youre test fitting them because the nuts might seize on you and snap the bolts when backing them out. The fronts were not as bad but building the turn signals was. All and all even though they were a PITA I like the look of them a lot better than the bushwackers plus everyone else has the bushwackers. The narrows Xenons definitely look 100x better IMO. Let me know if you need any help along the way! I know the directions are horrible! Good luck!

I have them on mine, they took about 4 hours to install with 1 helper and the majority of that time was spent cutting the finderwells to fit inside the flares. You will also need some type of satin black spray paint to cover up the body color that will be exposed. I left mine unpainted, 303, or Turtle Wax ICE shine them up pretty well, and they are pretty tuff laid my Jeep on it side twice and they have some minor scratches but pop back into place.

I did mine with a friend who knew how to do nutserts. Go VERY slow and don't overtighten them.

And nice find at $175! I thought I got mine for a steal at $250!
