Default Screwed up my hard brake line, how to replace it?

During offroading (read flexing) my sway-bar link bolt caught (second time) hard brake line on driver side and pulled it downwards significantly. It is all bend up and hangs only 2" above axle now. I don't want to try and mess up streightenning it up, as I already tried that before, instead I am thinking of changing the rear portion of the hard brake line. Anybody knows part number and how far it goes? I hope that it has connection somewhere and that I will not have to run it all the way under the hood.

i did the same thing last fall. I bet it looks something like this....

Yes, your rear brakeline goes all the way up to the master cylinder. You have three choices. Replace the entire line($$$$), splice in a new piece, or do nothing and hope for the best. The braking was not affected by my bend, so I let it go. The next time I went wheeling, it caught again, and bent back up close to the original position. After that, I cut off the extra sway bar bolt that was catching on it. I also wrapped it good with electrical tape(to prevent any chaffing) and used a heavy duty zip-tie to secure it to the frame rail. Haven't had any problems since. It's probably not the best solution, but it works. I keep telling myself that I'll get it fixed someday when I'm done with all the mods, but we all know how that works. The safest AND most economical fix would be the take it to a professional brake shop and have them splice in a new section. That shouldn't cost more than $100-$200.

That is exactly how it looks :-) just like the picture was taken off of my rig.
If that line goes all the way to the hood than Fk it.
Guess I need to find good brake shop around SF Bayarea.

Let me guess, Teraflex 2.5" lift? There's a couple others on here that have had the same problem and they were all on this lift. IMO those swaybar link bolts are way too long.

i did the same but with a nasty kink just above the bolt, as soon as i tried to bend it back it snaped off.
All i did was straighten the rest of the line, cut off the end with a pipe cutter, double flare the hole and reuse the fittings that go to your soft line.
I havent had any troubles with it since.

just go to an auto parts store and get a new piece of line and mount it where you want.
