Default Quick question about ORO 3rd brake/license plate light

I am trying to Put on the ORO 3rd brake/license plate light and I am having trouble finding the wire to connect to for the License plate light. The 3rd brake light and ground are self explanatory, but dont know where to connect to so when i have my headlights and taillights on at night, the License plate light will also stay lit?

There are some write-ups in the (you guessed it) Write-Ups subforum but, IMO, the easiest thing to do is just extend the OEM license plate light wires.

Just did mine last week and used the passenger side tail light. On my 2010 rubi the parking light wire was white with a purple stripe.

once you remove the standard plate holder (btw there are 2 ghost screws above the bumper) disconnect the factory light housing plug. pull back the carpet right behind it on the driver side and pull that wire bundle back up. there will b a rubber grommet. i left the factory light plug on and used blue quick splices and tapped off it. u can use either speaker wire or 16g wire to run to night time plate lights.
