Default Tire Reccomendations for 305/70/16?

I am looking into purchasing new 33s around November time frame. I would like to keep the cost of the tires at or below 1000k. I have found Duratracs for $900 for 4 on TireRack.com and Goddyear Kevlar Mudterrains for about $1200 on Quadratec...Ive researched a bunch of other brands such as Pro Comp, Dick Cipeck and Genereal....Im just looking for any input/ feedback and reccomendations!

How do you plan to use your Jeep? As a DD, an all terrain works go. Do you plan to run mud, snow, rocks? Your use (and price) should dictate what you buy. Mine is a DD with maybe 25% off road (mainly rocks). I'm thinking Duratracs.

My jeep is my DD. I live in NW Washington state so we get a hell of a lot of rain up here, and I spend quite a bit of time in snow up in the mountains in the winter. I do mild to moderate off roading mainly on mountain trails with some playing in rocks and mud (mainly due to the fact that the ground never really seems to dry out up here). Im looking for a moderate priced tire that has a good aggressive look, good tread life, and will perform offroad but is still compatible with daily driving.
Sounds like I want a bit of everything haha.

Never heard of them... Do you have any more info about them performance wise, and who sells them?

As many of the others have recommended, I would go with Duratracs.

You can get the 305/70/16 from TireRack.com for $217 each, $1085 for all 5
DiscountTireDirect.com has them for $235 each, $1175 for all 5

Goodyear has a mail in rebate for $40 off a set of 4

Join Tread Lightly ($25 for 1yr) and you get an additional $100 mail in rebate off the Goodyear Duratracs.

There is a shipping fee from TireRack, but not from Discount Tire. I would personally make Discount Tire aware of the price on TireRack and maybe they will match it.

Then DiscountTire gives a $50 forum discount when you buy 5 tires.

So, all that told, if Discount Tire will match the price:
$1085 - Goodyear $40 MIR - Tread Lightly $100 MIR - $50 Discount Tire forum discount + $25 cost of joining Tread Lightly = $920 with free shipping

Worse case scenario and Discount Tire doesn't match the price:
$1175 - Goodyear $40 MIR - Tread Lightly $100 MIR - $50 Discount Tire forum discount + $25 cost of joining Tread Lightly = $1010 with free shipping

Either way, I would go with Discount Tire to get the $50 forum discount and free shipping, unless you have a TireRack location near you and can avoid the shipping charges.

They're available directly from treadwright.com. If you search this site, you'll find several threads on them.

I love mine.
