Default 37" TOYO MT's...Correct Pressure?

I just got my 37" Toyo MT's put on and was curious what pressure you guys are running in this tire for the street. The guys who mounted them put 40# in them and I noticed that the outer/inner inch off the treads aren't making contact on the street much. I am guessing 32-35# will do the trick, but thought I'd inquire what others are running.

Thanks

Just for the record I grew up in Clay County IL.

If cash allows, Toyo's are my next tire.

25 to 28 seems to be the avg here with 35's/ 37's. Those tires are pretty stiff, so you may find that 25psi a little better ride over 28 to 30.

Do you know how to chaulk test? That will help you out to get the tires from wearing in wrong. If you do, however, you still may decide to go a little lower for on road comfort.

Mine was pretty close when chaulk tested vs where I had mine set for my preference of on road ride.

If you're not sure on how to chaulk test, there are a couple good DIY threads here OR post up what area you are in and I'm sure one of the members can give you a hand.

I tried 25 PSI on my Toyo 35s for a few days and hated it. My gas mileage also dropped about 1.5 MPG. My acceleration also drastically decreased and I couldn't stand the mushy ride. Went back up to 35 PSI and it rides great again and I just air down for wheeling. I know this is for 37s, but just saying....
