Default 5:13 gear whine

Had a reputable place install my 5:13s. How much gear whine should there be if any? Seems it was quiet for the first few 1000 miles and now I'd say from 50mph to 65mph you can hear the whine over the tire hum. Should I be concerned?
Goes away when you let off the gas.
Thanks

if it goes away on coast or noload sounds like pinion bearings are the problem.

Whine on 4.88 and up is somewhat normal. You might get lucky but you're almost always going to have some whine because everything is spinning faster. Try amsoil severe gear I've heard that it can quiet down the whine
