Default OR-Fab Gecko Skins Pre-Order Thread

Hi Folks,

This is the official pre-order thread for the OR-Fab Gecko skins. This pre-order will end August 15, 2011. Orders must be placed through Northridge4x4 and we will ship direct from the factory to you. All orders will ship on Aug 15, 2011. Shipping charge will be a flat fee of $30 in U.S.A (except Hawaii and Alaska), all other destinations we will charge whatever it costs us.

Pre-Order Pricing is simple. Gecko Skins are $349 for the pair (including lights), and $449 for Gecko Skins with Slider Bar. That's basically a $200 savings for the pre-order price versus the price AFTER Aug 15, 2011.

The only lights you will be able to get with this product is the Oblong lights. We chose this route because we wanted the owners to be happy with our product for many years and have confidence in the light manufacturer we have chosen.

Here are the product shots and vehicle shots of the Gecko Skins.

I want to thank everyone for their patience with this pre-release and pre-order. Honestly we made MANY changes to this product through the design phase because of several ideas submitted to us by forum users. We have not doubt that these ideas have allowed us to release a superior product.

Finally it should be noted that these Gecko Skins Bolt/Riv-Nut to the quarter panel of your JK. There is no need to remove sheet metal in order to install our Gecko Skins.

Thanks All,

Yates

Thumbs up Plate and Tube

Because others have asked. The plate steel is .134 and tube is 1 1/2 .120 wall DOM. As the Husker fan mentioned, these parts are manufactured in our Chino Valley, AZ shop.

so disappointed that you guys killed the round lights, sorry but the oblong lights are just not my thing I may have to mill over it for a while. The skins themselves still look great! One question it states that you do not have to cut the sheet metal, is that concerning the lights as well? and are they plug and play or do they have to be spliced?

Say somebody already had your tire carrier. Do you have a set that works in that situation?

Looks like a good idea instead of repairing hail damage on my rear fenders, what do we do with the license plate?

x2 would love definitley buy that too, also less work for you guys

I'm just waiting for someone to make armor "skin" for the rear that lets you use the stock tailights and covers the corner as well as a majority of the rear fender, it would be easier to sell because all the others you have to buy special tailights.

Is there anyway to make a special order of these to make it work with stock tailights?
