Default LoD Rear Bumper Wiring Question

Greetings. I have found an abundance of information here regarding LoD bumpers; thanks to all who have shared their experiences with these bumpers with all of us. I liked LoD bumpers so much I bought the 3rd generation rear full width bumper with tire carrier. Anyway, I included the halogen light kit because they look so cool. So, after reading many of your posts it appears that I must wire up the lights before mounting the bumper, does this sound correct?

I guess my question is, can I mount the rear bumper myself, then go somewhere and have someone wire up the lights and switches in the jeep after the fact (and no, I cannot wire them myself)? I hope this makes sense. Thank you for any input you can provide.

Kelly

X2 this is exactly what I did

If you can mount this bumper yourself you can do the wiring. It's pretty straight forward.

But yes, mount the lights, hook up the wires and stuff them somewhere safe until they can get hooked up. You'll never get to the lights after the bumper is on.

Thank you for all of your responses. I will likely mount the bumper as stated and get the lights in and tuck the wires somewhere until I can have someone wire it properly. Your input is greatly appreciated. Just fyi, Monday will be week 7 since I ordered it so hopefully any day now. Yesterday my wife came home from work with the front mid-width LoD bumper (which was still on my wish list) for my birthday! What a woman. Strange, she ordered the bumper barely a week ago and it arrived in 8 days. They must have some of those pre-made? Regardless, thanks again for everyone's input.
