Default LoD Signature Series 2 Rock Rails vs. Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers

I like the LoD because it's already painted both look pretty badass in my opinion. I'm hoping to run these with the Poison Spyder Body Armor.

LoD

$650

vs.

Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers

$575

(I was trying to make this into a poll thread) Can a mod make the question be "Rock Rails: LoD vs. Poison Spyder"
Option 1: LoD
Option 2: Poison Spyder")

Thanks

Poison Spider, if I were buying them.

A note on LoD. Wheeling last weekend at Gulches in SC. Met a guy with a sweet looking front stubby bumper, we're talking, its an LoD. He said he was not pleased with the finish, seemed small nicks made the powder flake off. FWIW

I went with the Poison Spyder rocker knockers....I had the same problem you do, I had a hard time choosing between the two. body mount Vs. frame mount. Bare metal finish Vs. Powdercoating. non-step Vs. Step. Etc...etc...etc...I also asked what the build/ship time was on them and at the moment I was ordering LOD was 6 weeks out and the PSC could ship out the door that very day. I ended up scuffing the PSC rail with lead wool, used wax and grease remover, then tack clothed them off, primer and 4 coats of rustomleum flat black spray paint. easy to fix when you bash/rock rash them. IMHO the rocker knockers were easily installed, fit well and are bullet proof.

Default Rockers

I've got the chrome tubes that came on my 09 Rubi from the dealer and I can't wait to unload them and im ready to order the Poison Spyders today. Seeing PainKillers ride just hammers the decision down. Looks super badass man.

Thank You Painkiller I think I will go with the poison. I was looking at how the LoD mounts and it looks like a giant PITA.

The hardest part about installing the LoDs is that I learned I am not as good with a tap as I used to be. Once mounted they seem sturdy enough. I haven't chipped scuffed or scraped mine...yet.
