Default Steering stabilizer adjustment?

Does the steering stabilizer require adjustment after a lift and larger tires?

Did you take it loose? If not, no.

No, only the windshield wipers require adjustment after those mods.

I already replaced the oil with anti-freeze and went out snipe hunting. getting ready to put headlights on the back when I back up or have to drive on the road if my transmission fails. Also put playing cards on the wheels to attract the snipes.

If it's your stock setup you shouldn't have to touch it. If you upgraded your SS, tie rod or changed the mounting point of the SS, you may need to adjust.

thanks for the useful info. Have a slight pull to the right, double checked everything so guess it's off to alignment

Just make certain that whatever shop you take it to is familiar with adjusting your set-up--Jeeps are not cars and you're a lot better at a shop that deals with Jeeps. Some will want to do silly things like install cam bolts, which you want to avoid if you off-road. They should adjust your front LCAs (not familiar with Clayton lift, but I assume you replaced those?). Or, in the instructions when I installed my TF front LCAs, Teraflex recommended making the passenger side LCA about an 1/8" longer to avoid that tendency of JKs to pull right. You could just try that first. Some folks disagree that is necessary, but the tendency of the JK to pull right is well-commented on this board--never have read of anyone who said theirs wanted to pull left (now someone will chime in--LOL).

You are right! Put on the Teraflex 2.5"' coil lift w/shocks and mine pulls slightly left now! Checked tire pressures which are OK, so I am going to wheel it hard this weekend and see what it is doing after that!

Thanks Mark - I thought about adjusting the LC arm, I measured the axles front to rear distance on both sides and they were the same, but it's worth a try. Everything else is great, no wobble, no other issues.
