Anyone running a detroit in the rear and a arb up front?
Just curious to know who's running a similar combo and how do you like it. I'm going to be running a arb in the front along with a Detroit in the rear. Also what else is needed with a arb locker?

When the button is off, you have an open front diff. No different than the stock carrier with no locker installed. Push the button, and the front is locked.

I'm running a Detroit rear and Aussie front. I don't even hardly notice it with daily road driving. Only notice the Aussie when turning sharp at slow speeds in parking lots. Mine is also very quite. The only time I feel the Detroit is when shifting (manual), not sure how to explain it but you can feel it. It's not bad just different, kind of like the Jeep wants to squat a little in the rear when you shift. I have had mine for few weeks and don't even notice it anymore. Off road it made a BIG difference. Mine is a daily driver with a 120 mile round trip commute. Love both and would do it again.

Does this compressior have to be mounted in the engine bay? Also is it powerful enough to run on board air off of for airing up tires only? How was the install pretty simple?
If you mount an tank, it will run air tools for short periods.
Fairly straight forward, there is a good write-up in the write-ups area.
