Default Cooper Discovery STT - opinions?

Anyone run the STT in 35's (or 33's).

I've seen good reviews online, but they were all p/u truck drivers.

How did you like them and how did they compare?

Thanks

I JUST bought the 37x12.50r17 Discoverers.

I LOVE them. Priced well, excellent off road, quiet, guaranteed American made.

I'd definitely purchase again.

Great tire, I ran the 35's for 30,000m before I sold them, had another 5-10,000m on them before being bald. Quiet, wore and rode really well, they are real sticky on rocks but they will chunk! If your a constant rock monkey, I doubt they'd last long, other than that, they're a great all around tire.

I'm running the 37's and really dig them!.. They are quiet compared to the Mickey Thompsons MTZ i ran before, and they seem to wear better - done 10000Km now, proberly due to the harder compound.

On road they perform well, of course keeping in mind it's a MT tire. And in the sand I have had no problems either, deflate to 10-15 Psi and you are good to go

All in all a good tire for the price

Absolutely LOVE them. But I've been a Cooper nut since my old AMC Eagle.
They handle everything I've thrown at them...mud, snow, rain, dirt.
I've heard they chunk pretty bad on rock, but there isn't much of that here in NY.

got well over 35k miles on them, and figure they'll last til next spring when I can get more.

I have only had mine about 1000 miles and just very light trail riding, but I love them so far. Not loud at all and I they look great.

Ran ST's for years on working pick up trucks and wanted to stay with the Coopers. Put the STT's on the jeep this summer. So far I've run them on logging trails and creekbeds and been happy with them. They do have a modest hum on the pavement.

Mine are doing well. They've been in Mud, Snow and Rocks. Quiet on the road and a decent price.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but are you guys still happy with your STTs? I read reviews saying they're great in mud, but the only complaints I see, besides the road noise, totally conflict the rave reviews. one person said they're like slicks in the mud and many people say they don't clean themselves well of the mud, so I'm confused. Are they great in the mud or not? That's the only offroading I'm interested in. The thick red Oklahoma mud.
