Ok maybe this is dumb, but why get a other than tire clearance and then use longer bumpstops that would seem to defeat part of the purpose of the lift. Why not get the lift, longer travel shocks and shorter bumpstops and have increased wheel travel and articulation?

 

You'll over-compress the coils, (depending on brand, this may or may not damage them), and over-compress the shocks which will blow them out. Make sure to take some measurements before you drop the bumpstops.
