Default Which lift? height, price, etc~

Okay - I plan on getting a 2.5" lift soon - but thats all I have so far. I have a 2011 2 door sport JK automatic. I keep reading that over 3" and the autos have problems. I also read that a 2.5" lift is actually closer to 3". So if I got a 2.5" lift would it cause problems? I am not rich so the lift cannot be too expensive but I also do not want a spacer lift that will have no real performance gains. The jeep is my daily driver but I will take it offroading.

Here is the kit you are wanting. TeraFlex is one hell of a brand and you will get a great ride quality out of their kit and the well known Bilstein 5100 shocks to top it all off..

I put a TF 2.5" coil lift on which netted me about 3.25". I have a 2010 2dr sport. No issues with driveshafts so far.

do you think 2.5" would look stupid with 33's? thanks for the link to that kit - I will most likely end up purchasing that.

I am running a 3 inch lift on my 4 door with 33s and it looks pretty good. There is thread somewhere with tons of pics of 33s with 3 inch lifts.

I can second this, except I don't have the shocks yet. I have ZERO regrets, love this lift!
