Default Can I REMOVE my front DRIVESHAFT???

I have a 2dr automatic. Because of the amount of lift my JK has, my front driveshaft finally spewed out all off it's grease. It needs to be replaced. At the moment I do not have the money to replace it, but I also don't plan do any wheeling that surpasses a dirt road anytime soon.

Question:

Can I remove my front driveshaft and drive around with it off? Any problems with doing that and/or anything I should be careful of?

If I can do this, any tips or tricks to doing it?

Thanks!

I was thinking of taking these steps to removing the driveshaft, up until step 5 where I would stop until I finally get a replacement front driveshaft.

Yep....you can.

You wont have any issues other than feeling like your jk has had one of its balls cut off.
