Rough Country Body Lift with 6 Speed
Okay so I am thinking of putting in the 1.25" rough country body lift and am wondering if anyone with a 6 speed is using the shifter adapter with any sucess? I also wonder how the bumper relocator will work with my aev tire carrier on the stock bumper. So is anyone using this kit with the adapter? Specially in cold weather seems to be an issue as well, causing it to come out of gear in the even numbered gears 2, 4 and 6.
I just need a little more lift for tire room and dont want to spend any more money on a suspension lift. Plus dont want to run into driveline angle issues.
It seems there is a fair number of people that end up removing their body lifts as well and although body lifts are pretty cheap I dont want to be pi$$ing away money.

Just an update I ended up doing the Rough Country 1.25" body lift. I got the shift adapter and the rear bumper relocation brackets. I did find that it still wanted to jump out of gear though after so I ended up getting a leather shift boot as it was the upper boot not the inner causing problems. Also because I have the AEV rear tire carrier and it mounts to the frame and the body I had to get creative to make up the difference after the body lift.
