Question My first set of questions....

I am trying to get all of my questions out at once. I have an 07 Wrangler X.

I want to lift it, and I was wondering about this kit:

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_3-seriesII.html

Does this kit include everything that I need? If not, what am I missing?

How many hours is install typically?

Also, I am looking at 33in BFG MT KM2 with 4.88 gears:

hxxp://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/BF-Goodrich-Mud-Terrain-KM2-tires.aspx?t_c=13&t_s=156&t_pt=100697&t_pl=6396

Will those fit on my stock 17's from Jeep?

What kind of fuel economy should I expect?

I appreciate any help.

In short answer. Yes . But it has fixed control arms. Some ppl like adjustable control arms to help with changing castor angle if wanted. Another thing I don't see if Trac bar and quick disconects. These are not needed... Maybe in time you might want these and replace as needed. I started with a rc lift and eventually replaced with teraflex 4 inch and adjustable control arms , Trac bar, and quick disconnects by jks. So based on what you are looking for and doing with your jeep this lift is perfectly fine. If you are wanting to go bigger tires down the road or more flex the quick discos may be something you can add later. Cheap too.

On the gearing . Do you have standard or auto?

They should be fine with the stock wheels.

4.88 gears for a manual seem too much of a gear for 33s. I have 4.88 on my manual with 35s maybe 37s in time. This is why I ask auto or manual. You will be probably fine with 33s and stock gears with manual if you have this.

Ppl are getting various fuel economy. Don't expect to get good economy the bigger you go or bigger lift you go. Weight and height play a part with drag resistance and rolling resistance.

With an auto you need more gear. I suggest you get the lift you want and 33s . Try it out and if you don't like them then re gear. I doubt you do though. A lot of guys run 35s and stock gears. Do you know if you have 3.21 or 3.73 gears?

To keep cost low. The RC lift is great and if needed you can replace for disconnects and all in time like I did. It really depends what you are using the jeep for daily driver or weekend offroader.

Actually, I ran the VIN number on a website and it gave me a full breakdown and it said I have 4.10 gears.

Cool. Didnt know x came with 4.10. You are perfectly fine then with gears and 33s. No need to change to 4.88 at all. Get your lift and 33s and you will be good to go

He has to have it with 4.10. Although mine initially did too with 3.73 though. Maybe he has an upgraded gearing.

This is my daily driver as well. Won't it be a slug with 4.10 gears?
