Default Mickey Thompson ATZ (SLT) loud road noise?

I have searched and done a lot of research and have gotten mixed reviews. I drive my Jeep 60 miles everyday so I am going with an A/T over the my current BFG M/T's. I wanted to get the BFG A/T's but they no longer make the 37's for an 18" wheel. I like the aggresive tread pattern and want a quiet, smooth riding tire. Tell me your FIRST HAND experience with these tires. Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I shouldn't have put the size in the subject line. I am just looking for experience with these tires and how the noise/ride was.

I have the Mickey Thompson ATZ SLT 35X13.0 and they are quiet and much smoother compared to M/T. I just switched from toyo m/t's and I'm loving my new ATZ's.

A lot of people don't realize the ATZ's come in two different tread patterns. The "standard" sizes have raised white letters on one side and the tread is not nearly as aggressive looking as the wider sizes like the above members have posted about.

You are correct. There is the MT ATZ (plus) with the less aggressive tread and there MT ATZ radial/SLT which is the more aggressive tread and sidewall. Here are some pictures below for reference:
ATZ Plus

ATZ Radial/SLT

Did you guys above that said they are quiet, have the SLT or the Plus?

I have the more aggressive tire in a 35x12.5 rides great! Very little to no road noise. Works great in the rain snow and sand. I highly recommend them!

Actually, those are the less aggressive ATZ plus tires. See above.

I run these in 37x13.5R18. Scratching my head why they don't make them in the 18" rim size? I just ordered one like 3 months ago for my stupid FLAT! Anyways I like them but this is my first 37" tire so I can't compare to other tires. I'd say for a 37" tire they are as quiet as you are going to get.

PS: I plan on going with mud grapplers next
