Has anyone either angled the spare to fit with the lower half over the rear bumper (aftermarket bumper) or notched a bumper to fit the spare off to the side versus in the field of vision? I may relocate mine with a little welding, but i don't know the regulations on how close the tire can be to the right tail light.

 

Why not put it in the rear cargo area?

 

Iiked my spare in the cargo area before I got my tuffy cargo drawer.

 

Mine is currently in the rear cargo area. It's not bad, but eventually I would like to get a bumper/tire carrier.

 

That is where my fours dogs go...

 

I plan on throwing mine in the cargo area once I find some plugs for the tailgate holes.
