Any one else have this setup? I had a pain in the ass trying to mount the control box... i have it half ass on right now... Sorry for the pic but it was dark and i was not about to try anf find my work lamps.. Mounting it on top of the winch i could not plug the remote in and mounting it over the motor it would not fit far eough left to get it in between the grill guard...

no problem with mine???

Please ignore trail fix of zip ties holding in spool knob which lost it's retaining pin.

Funny, I've since replaced it with a Warn VR Series and now that one has issues with clearance of control box under hoop.

see your top pic looks like mine.. it fit but i could not plug the remote in as it was directly below my grill guard. if i move the winch over the clutch hits and is stuck in engage. and it just doest fit to mount over the motor. u can see where i have it for now... ill get better pics tomorrow.

My hoop angle cleared the plug in. Maybe your hoop is not angled steep enough forward???
You could shim up the back side of the bottom of hoop to pitch it more forward. Just a thought.

My hoop was the hoop off my old beat up Bestop Full width bumper and maybe the new stubby bumper's hoop is designed different?

No matter what I do with the Warn, I having clearance issues.

I think your hoop simply bolt in through holes on the bumper. maybe drilling out new holes a couple inches forward and repositioning the hoop mor forward will provide better clearance. I may do this to mine.

wow somehow i didnt think of that one. it would work great. The bolts thread into the hoop so it would be simple as hell!

have any of you guys been pulled out with this bumper on. i am putting mine on now well when i get back from afghanistan ill be able to test it out. but it looks like u guys have the complete setup. any pros or cons besides the winch. i am thinking bout the quadratec winch cus the plug in is on the side. which is funny cus i asked quadratec if there were any clearance issues with putting winched on the bumper and they said no. even though i have a few posts now that say there are. any info would be great. cus im trying to get a better feel of the bumper till i get back and im trying to reassure myself of a good buy..
