Default New 37's down to 3 options: MTR/K, Trail Graps, STTs

I have literally been weighing this decision for months now. I just cant choose which direction to go to replace my current 37's KM2's.

Its a DD, but my commute is only like 6 miles each way. Other than that I just use it to run around locally & to the beach. Dont take it on long trips as the wife's car pulls that duty.

I dont run rocks, mainly trail & mud & winter/wet traction is also important to me as well...this is mainly why the KM2's are out along w/ the smaller sizing.

Any last thoughts/input to help me make this choice. I have to pull the trigger now I am tired of waffling...

why would he go with Duratrac's? He has narrowed it down to three MUD tires not a/t tires. Between all three of your choices I would pick the STT. Reasons: Trail Grapplers. = to heavy, MT/R = to hard to balance

The stt is a fine tire! And really reasonably priced. That was my choice. Until i scored a great deal on some dynapros

I'd run the trail grappler. last winter those tires were sick in the snow. quiet, wear evenly and balanced without any issues.

I will say that the 37 inch weighs 84 pounds and the 35 weighs 80 pounds.

good luck.

I don't think duratrac's or any Fierce tires come in 37's. Plus the duratrac's run small , one of the reasons I'm dumping the KM2's

How do you like the Dynapros compared to the STT?

For me all of these tires are basically the same price.

My biggest concern is with nittos is the weight. 84 lb is pretty heavy. I'm sleeved and gusseted but still running a 30 up front.

Anyone have an accurate weight on th 37 STT?
