Default Toyo open country MT reviews

About ready to get some new 37" toyo mt's but just wanted to get some reviews before I bought them. How do they run off road/on road? Do you like them, etc.

They are an excellent tire. They are also quieter on pavement than other MT's.

I just put Toyo 37s on mine about a month ago. Very happy with them thus far. Great offroad and for daily driving. They are not load at all. Just a slight hum you can hear with the windows down. I would definately buy again

Definitely a good tire... I have nearly 25k on them and they are still in great shape I'll definitely be buying them again

i'd love some toyo mt's, just 33's but here in canada the prices are retarded right now with the cost of crude. but overall they have to be bar none the most versatile mt tire, i had a set on my old yj, could not be beat!

I went from the MT/R to the Toyo MT and love it. The only reason I switched was due to the lack of availability with the MT/R. I can honestly say that they perform very similar, but with the price difference I would say that the Open country is a much better option on a good tire.

i tried running a set of mt/r's on our orange JK and was never happy with them. while they worked okay on the trail, they proved to be unpredictable and have sidewalls that were weak. on pavement, i found them to be difficult to balance and cause the overall ride to be off. my guess is that the directional like tread design had something to do with this but, it's hard to say for sure. in the end, i found them to help contribute to bad shimming which didn't do anything to help out with a death wobble issues i was trying to resolve. needless to say, i threw on an old set of toyo's i still had as a test and, all my problems went away.
