Default Rear sway bar

I purchased my lift last Thursday that I was going to install it until I can save up for wheels and tires. Teraflex says wheel spacers are required because the rear sway bar will rub.

Is it safe to run a couple weeks without the sway bar so I can install the lift now? I am impatient. Thx.

I would contact TF and make sure your ok. Sway bar adds stability and traction on road, and removal might cause you to lose some of that. That being said, often full size pickups come without a rear sway bar... So I'm not sure?

You can run without any swaybars. I run 5" of lift and don't run any. You will just have a lot of body roll. I don't drive mine much on the highway or I would have left them on though.

Full sized pickups usually have leaf springs, which are a bit more laterally stable than coils.

i ran with out the rear swaybar for a while. was ok. definatly more flexy, and more body roll on turns.
i installed my psc steering, and had to reinstall the rear bar because the road mannars were terrible with out it.

so u should be fine for a few days OP, just take it slow.

Thanks for the info. I will see how it feels Saturday morning after lift install. Should have cash for wheel spacers in a couple weeks. Definitely will put back on.
