When running on the sand beaches surf fishing from long Island to Cape Cod on stock tire's 17" i go about 5 to 6 lbs.. Haven't had a problem in about 40 yrs..

Not sure about your tires, but 15 PSI is recommended at Assateague.

Run em as flat as you can. If you spin the bead, That was to low.

any thing below 18 is good no need to go below 10. anything above 18 your wasting your time letting any air out.

man i want to but got a ton of stuff going on that weekend, wedding on fri night for one buddy and bachlar party sat night for another one. it sucks oc is right in my backyard and the thing at 16 mile brewery on fri night is about 3 miles from home. def gona have that weekend marked off next year ecspecially wanna get in on the beach caravan. how sick is that gonna be 80 jeeps cruising down the beach

drop to 15 you cant make a mistake. i run the beach all the time and delaware's sand is the worst alot softer and rutted up than assategue and i never air down. i was running 325/60/18 nitto terra graplers with 35psi and never a prob now im running 37-13.50-18 swamper m16s. last week i idled up to a half ton chevy pu that was framed out to ask him if he needed a pull. we have been getting rain pretty regular here lately which firms up the sand but drop to 15 and enjoy the first ever oc beach cruse. the wedding doesnt start till 630 fri night so im gonna try to stop by 16mile for a bit. i think it starts a 3 out there
