Default Anyone with a RIPP SC drive a 2012 and if so what are your thoughts

Just wondering if anyone has driven a 2012 who already has a RIPP SC.
Especially if you have an automatic. I just wanted to how the new Auto compares with a SC auto.
Thanks

We have a 2011 jk with a Ripp s/c and will be running it against a 2012 Pentastar in a couple weeks. The 5 spd tranny in the 2012's is a good slushbox and seems to put the power down pretty well so it should be interesting.
I have driven some SRT's with the A580 and it works pretty darn good.

The Pentastar is supposed to be 290 hp which is a strong number.

None of the dealerships close to me have any 2012's on the lot. They have ordered them but not one in stock.
I seriously doubt I will go to the 2012 but I would like to compare.

The tranny is tough. It is the same tranny they use with all of the SRT V8's.
There are guys with turbo kits and Superchargers running over 700 hp through the same transmission.

Well in my opinion they will stand up. It will be heat and lack of maintenance that would be the end of it if anything.

I have the same tranny in my TJ Rubicon and have punished it, including filling it with water and driving it 70 miles (long story about a river) before we could flush it. I ran it last year with a 70 shot of NOS, and it still works like it did from day 1.

I thought the ripp could not be installed on a 2011 because the tuners have not been tuned to work with the 2011s computers......

Can anyone confirm?

I was just interested in the way it feels.
2012 Auto with the new penstar 3.6 vs 3.8 Supercharger both with Automatic.
Does one feel like it has more power than the other?
Thanks
