Default anyone replaced a front pinion seal on a dana 30

Mine is leaking like crazy and I don't really want to pay someone to do it. I definitely don't have a warranty so that's not an option. How hard is it to do? What exactly do I need to do?? Any help would be appreciated because I don't even know where to start.

From what've read so far it's pretty easy to do and doesn't take very long.

"Take off the yoke, use a putty knife or thin bladed flat-tip screw driver to carefully pop out the seal. clean the whole surface and apply a THIN coat of RTV to the seal flange. push the seal in as far as you can get it by hand and tap the rest of the way in with a rubber mallet or dead blow. put the yoke back in and torque the pinion to 160 foot pounds."
