Default Sometimes "Death Wobble" questions

Sometimes when I hit a bump my JK goes into a death wobble. It has happened maybe 5 times in the last month over a span of 3k. It usually occurs after impact with a pot hole. Symptoms do not return after stopping and restarting. I initially attributed it to the coil being improperly seated. Once that was corrected it has not happened, but once. I am running a 2.5 TF coil lift. No steering stabilizer.
Whats going on?

I had the same issue going on! And I was looking at installing the TeraFlex draglink flip kit and trackbar relocation bracket, but before I could get that done my front axle housing broke in half. Not sure if that was the reasoning behind it all or not. After the break I installed the teraflex 6" LCG lift that came with the draglink flip and track bar relocation bracket. Haven't had a problem since.

My death wobble started with around 27k miles vary rarely when hitting bumps (like 5 times in 8 months), and progressed to almost always doing it. I replaced my ball joints with about 39K miles and it resolved my issue.

Read Planmans thread...it solved 2 very annoying issues I had. One (actual death wobble) occured stock. The other was the onset of death wobble after 35's. Just read it and follow every instruction and I'm 99% sure your problem will disappear.

I know you can run without a steering stabilizer, but it's there to absorb the small stuff such as hitting bumps. things in motion stay in motion and when you hit a bump just right, it will amplify into DW.
Is there a reason you removed your steering stabilizer?
