Default Front shocks on a lift

So I have a 2.5" Procomp lift. When I installed the lift, I added a 1" spacer on the front coils to help level it out. It still sags slightly in the front (rake), but not bad. I'm getting new front shocks, so do I just get shocks for a 2.5" or can I go to 3.5" shock to help with that front end rake?

Your jeeps height has nothing to do with shocks. The coils determine the amount of lift you have. So if you want to eliminate the rake, you can add stiffer HD front coils or replace the spacers you already have with taller ones.

Ok, that makes sense, but what size shocks do I replace with then? Because technically, my shocks are getting stretched by an inch from their
normal ride height with the coil spacer.

Like already stated, it depends on the coils. I'm running a TF 2.5" BB and with my higher numbered Rubi coils, I get about 3" of lift. I wanted a bit more flex (both ways) so I went with a 3-4" shock. I also run coil retainer clips so they don't pop out. I've had no issues so far...
