Default Need some lift advice (TF perf leveling vs 2.5" coil)

Hey all,

I've read countless threads on lifts, etc. and think I am confusing myself more than anything else.

Most of the time I'll be doing DD. However, I don't want this to limit my occasional adventures. Most of the stuff I have done in the past are logging roads/back country, muddy trails, streams, etc. Love to try some rocks or a bit more of the dessert terrain as well... Probably nothign too extreme, though. I'm looking at 33s (285s or maybe 295s) with PSC bumpers, rockers and a winch (guessing the total weight would be ~425lbs if you go with the shipping weights). My original plan was to go with the TF 1.5" leveling kit however, I'm worried that the extra weight will cancel it out and I'll need to add some pucks. On the other hand I was worried that going with the 2.5" coil lift wold make my tires see a bit small for the opening.

Any pics/links are appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. Yes I can go with 35s and the 2.5" coils and call it a day but I'm not convinced that is a route I want to go just yet.

I just installed a Teraflex 2.5 coil lift. IMHO she sits the way a Jeep should sit out of the dealership. I was going back and forth with the Coil lift v. the 2.5 Budget boost because of the price, but I figured the springs had to come out anyways, why not go for the coil lift. Here she is with OE Rubicon tires and Mickey Thompson Signuture Series wheels.

I'm going with Goodyear Duratrac tires (315/70-17) and have an appointment on Tuesday to have them installed, but the OE rubicon tires look ok with this set up, so 33 should look sweet also.

I installed 2.5 TF coil and 35's. My jeep rides more smoothly on and off the road. I'd highly recommend. It'll give you everything you're looking for based on your explanation.
